Monday, Sept. 10 at 5 p.m. is the deadline to nominate outstanding nurses from Kentucky and Southern Indiana for the fifth annual Florence Nightingale Awards in Nursing, presented by the University of Louisville.
Nominators should submit an essay of no more than 400 words about how a registered nurse has excelled in providing patient care, influenced the nursing profession or improved the health of people in the region. Nominees must have a registered-nurse license in Kentucky or Indiana. Nominations are made online.
