I recently was involved in a medical malpractice trial with an EHR forensics issue in Broward County, Florida (Ft. Lauderdale area).  The Complaint was that, in essence, a hospital did not act rapidly enough in an obstetrical emergency where the placenta had prematurely separated from the uterus, and a severe brain injury resulted to the baby from lack of oxygen.  A jury verdict was reached
